Mark your calendars—Dogs, Donuts & Donations is officially back this May, and it’s shaping up to be our biggest (and cutest) year yet! This annual event supports Pet Helpers Adoption Center & Spay/Neuter Clinic, helping provide care, shelter, and forever homes for animals right here in our community.
This year, we’re switching things up with a new venue and partnering with The Broken Leash Dog Park & Bar, making it even easier (and more fun) to bring your pup along for the morning. Expect adoptable dogs from Pet Helpers, free donuts and coffee compliments of Dunkin, local vendors, professional pet photos, and a raffle + silent auction packed with amazing prizes—all for a great cause. If you’re planning to bring your dog to enjoy the park, be sure to check out The Broken Leash’s website ahead of time for their rules and requirements.
And if you’ve been before, you already know how special this event is. Thanks to our incredible community, we’ve raised over $700 in past years, and even more importantly, helped connect adoptable dogs with their forever homes (yes… puppies have been adopted right on the spot 🥹). If you want a little preview of the magic, check out last year’s recap video here:
Let’s Talk Vendors + Prizes 👀
We already have an amazing group of vendors signed up this year, and they’re a huge part of what makes this event so fun to explore. Be sure to check out:
Carolina Surf Fogs
Mini Blessings Bakery, LLC
Dusty Tails Animal Rescue
D. M. Sonntag – Books ‘n Hooks
All Creatures Vet Clinic
Fizz Frenzy
Two Tides Wood Design
Canien Revolution Dog Training
Zaxbys
And the raffle + silent auction? It’s already stacked. We’re talking a locally made charcuterie board, Charleston RiverDogs tickets, gift certificates, an Upstate getaway, and more still being added 👏
A Huge Thank You to Our Sponsors 💙
This event wouldn’t be possible without the support of our amazing sponsors, The Matt Mieras Team at Guild Mortgage and J.C. Lopez with Zyndicate Media, who help us bring it all together and maximize what we can give back to Pet Helpers. We’re so grateful for your continued support and commitment to our community.
At the end of the day, this event is about more than donuts (although… those don’t hurt). It’s about coming together as a community to support animals in need, local businesses, and a cause that truly matters.
So grab your dog, bring a friend, and come spend the morning with us. We can’t wait to see you there 🐾✨
